Year 1’s Wonderful Assembly – Amazing Australia and The Koala Who Could

On Thursday morning, Year 1 captivated an audience of proud family members and friends with their fantastic class assembly. The children spoke with confidence as they showcased their learning from this term, sharing fascinating facts about the geography of Australia and its incredible wildlife. They made excellent connections to their science lessons, demonstrating their growing knowledge with enthusiasm.

As part of their performance, the children brought to life the much-loved story The Koala Who Could, which they had enjoyed during their English lessons. With great energy and expressive storytelling, they delivered the heartwarming message that, just like Kevin the Koala, we should all embrace challenges with a can-do attitude.

From speaking and singing to dancing, the children performed beautifully, filling the hall with smiles, excitement, and a wonderful sense of achievement.
