Year 3 and 4 Wow in Super Swimming Gala
On the evening of January 30th, KSA hosted an exciting swimming gala against King’s Hawford and RGS The Grange, showing the bravery of our year 3 and 4 swimmers. The event was filled with incredible performances and great team spirit, making it a memorable evening for all involved.
A special mention must go to Bertie and Elodie, who were outstanding throughout the evening. Both swimmers had a busy schedule, taking part in multiple races, and managed to win their individual events. Their performances were a real highlight of the gala.
Poppy also stood out for her superb execution of all the required racing techniques. She demonstrated not only impressive swimming skills but also an unwavering determination that carried her through her events.
Harvey and Akshay exhibited the same level of grit and perseverance, pushing through their races with a fantastic display of resilience. Their determination to do their best was evident in every stroke.
Two more notable moments, Tiegan and Charlie took on the challenge of swimming up an age group, showing great courage and perseverance. Tiegan swam the first leg of the relay and nearly managed to beat the other Year 4 swimmers!
As well as a great performance in the pool, our swimmers showed tremendous sportsmanship and team spirit. They supported each other with enthusiasm and camaraderie, creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere throughout the event.
After securing the victory, our swimmers demonstrated their politeness and helpfulness by waiting for the swimmers from Hawford and The Grange to guide them to their snacks.
