Year 3 Buzzing with Learning in Science
There was certainly a buzz around the Year 3 classroom during this week’s science lesson as pupils explored the fascinating process of pollination in a fun, creative, and memorable way!
To bring the topic to life, pupils became busy bees for the lesson, complete with their own ‘bee’ hats, while Mrs Atkinson fully embraced the role too by dressing up as a bee! 🐝 The quad was filled with excitement as pupils acted out the process of pollination, taking turns to perform, film and narrate their own videos in the style of David Attenborough.
The activity gave pupils the opportunity to develop a range of skills, combining science with drama, creativity, teamwork and IT. Most importantly, pupils demonstrated an excellent understanding of pollination and confidently used accurate scientific vocabulary throughout their narrations.
A fantastic example of learning brought to life through imagination, curiosity, and plenty of fun!
