Year 3 Production: Awful Egyptians

The Awful Egyptians

The Year 3 classrooms were full of excitement yesterday morning as the children donned their costumes, ready for their dress rehearsal.  Children in the Pre-Prep and the Junior School thoroughly enjoyed the performance, especially the removal of the brain through the dead body’s nose (spaghetti!) and the ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire’ quiz.

The morning’s performance filled the children with confidence for the afternoon’s showing to family and friends.  Reception’s classroom provided the waiting area and the atmosphere was abuzz with excitement and a few nerves (or ‘nervousited’ as the children like to call it!).

Once underway, the children provided loved ones with a plethora of facts about the life of ancient Egyptians, lots of humour, many budding actors and some wonderful singing, rapping and dancing!

Well done, Year 3, for all your hard work learning lines and for putting up with Mrs Atkinson and Mrs Etherington’s directing (aka nagging!).
