Year 3 Team Building Fun!
Year 3 had a fun-filled morning of team building activities on Tuesday.
The morning started with the whisper game, which ended in lots of giggling. The children were split into two teams and given a sentence. They had to pass the sentence down their line, hoping to get to the end with the exact sentence that they had started off with. There was some success, but there were certainly some very strange ending sentences, which made everyone laugh!
Next they tested their memories with the game, ‘I went to the shop and bought…’ What a challenge! The last few people in the circle had the hardest job of remembering every single item on the shopping list but Gabe was successful in naming them all – well done!
The children then had a fantastic time exploring forest school and making dens for their soft toys. It was lovely to see all the children exploring and playing together beautifully; great team work and collaboration was on show.
Throughout the week, every child has shown kindness and a friendly, welcoming attitude towards their peers. It was wonderful to see the children working together so well, totally engrossed in what they were doing, using their imaginations and being creative.
We have all had a lovely first full week back in school, with lots of socialising, reconnecting, team building and a great deal of enthusiasm on show. Well done Year 3, what a fantastic start to the year!
