Year 4 Bring Celtic Life to Life
Building on the incredible Celtic roundhouses they crafted, Year 4 have taken their creativity even further by planning and writing their own imaginative stories inspired by life in Celtic times. The children stepped into the shoes of ancient Celts, imagining what daily life might have been like, from tending fires in their roundhouses to preparing for unexpected visitors.
Each story begins with a vivid, detailed description of their roundhouse, capturing the textures, sounds, and smells of life in the past. The narratives then unfold with suspense and excitement as the Romans approach to invade, giving the children a chance to weave in action, problem-solving, and clever twists.
We are thrilled to see such creativity, imagination and storytelling flair from the class and can’t wait to read the full tales of adventure and Celtic life come to life on the page.
