Year 4 Bring their Stories to Life
This week, Year 4 have been letting their imaginations run wild as they created their own unique stories inspired by The Three Little Pigs. Pupils embraced the classic tale but added their own creative twists, resulting in a delightful mix of characters and settings. Some of the fantastic ideas included three sharks and a whale, three little monkeys and a gorilla, and three zebras and a lion!
The children have been working hard on developing their plots, adding exciting details, and experimenting with descriptive language to bring their stories to life. Many have included suspenseful twists, humorous moments, and clever problem-solving, showing just how inventive and imaginative our Year 4 storytellers are.
Next week, the excitement continues as some pupils will have the opportunity to read their stories aloud in Celebration Assembly, sharing their creativity with the wider school community. It promises to be a joyful and inspiring event, celebrating not only their writing skills but also their confidence and enthusiasm for storytelling.
We can’t wait to see the stories come alive and to hear the pupils’ fantastic ideas, Year 4 have truly shown how fun and inventive learning can be!
