Year 4 Bring Celtic Roundhouses to Life
Year 4 have been busy building their very own model Celtic roundhouses. The children showed amazing creativity and imagination in their designs. Some chose to use traditional materials, weaving wattle and daub walls and adding thatched roofs just like the Celts would have done thousands of years ago. Others used cardboard, paint and recycled materials to carefully craft their houses, decorating them with incredible detail.
Many models even included tiny furniture, flickering fires, animals and people. One especially imaginative roundhouse was made entirely from pumpkin pancakes, caramel sauce and cereal; a true feast for the eyes and the stomach!
Every single roundhouse was different, unique and bursting with creativity. Year 4 pupils should be very proud of their hard work!
