Year 4 Cycling Proficiency Success

On Monday, our Year 4 pupils took to their bikes for an exciting cycling proficiency course under the bright spring sunshine. This playground-based session was designed to equip them with essential cycling skills, helping them develop confidence and learn key safety techniques to keep them safe on the roads. The session covered important areas such as balance, control, awareness of surroundings, and basic road safety rules.

Our pupils embraced the opportunity to put their skills to the test, navigating different challenges with enthusiasm and determination. Impressing the instructor with their focus and willingness to learn, it was wonderful to see their confidence grow as the session progressed.

We are delighted to share that every single pupil successfully passed the course, earning a well-deserved certificate and sticker as a reward for their hard work. More importantly, they gained valuable knowledge and skills that will help them become safer, more responsible cyclists in the future.

A huge well done to all the pupils for their effort and enthusiasm throughout the session. It was a fantastic learning experience, and we hope they continue to enjoy cycling safely and responsibly!
