Year 4 Explore Cotswold Wildlife Park

As part of our learning this term, Year 4 enjoyed an exciting trip to Cotswold Wildlife Park.

The visit linked perfectly with our Arts Week theme of Animals, our Science topic on Living Things and Their Habitats, and our Humanities learning about tourism.

During the day, the children explored the park and saw a wonderful variety of animals, including rhinos, giraffes, lions, camels, leopards, penguins and sloths. They also took part in an engaging talk on animal classification, where they learned how scientists group animals according to their characteristics and habitats.

After enjoying a picnic lunch, the children had great fun in the adventure playground before taking a relaxing train ride around the park to spot even more wildlife. The day ended with a visit to the gift shop, where everyone enjoyed choosing a souvenir to remember their trip.

It was a fantastic day of learning and exploration, giving the children the opportunity to see a wide range of animals up close while bringing their classroom topics to life.
