Year 4 Get Active with Joe Wicks
Year 4 got moving during their PSHE lesson as they took part in an energetic Joe Wicks workout! The session gave the children a fun, hands-on opportunity to explore how physical activity affects their bodies and how exercise helps us stay healthy and strong.
Throughout the workout, the children thought about how their bodies felt during and after exercise, noticing changes such as a faster heartbeat, warmer bodies and heavier breathing. They discussed why these changes happen and how regular physical activity benefits our overall health and wellbeing.
The children also explored everyday ways to stay active, from walking and cycling to playing games outdoors and taking part in sports.
By the end of the session, Year 4 had a better understanding of the importance of keeping active, recognising how exercise strengthens our bodies, boosts our energy and helps us maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Well done Year 4 for embracing the challenge and getting active!
