Year 4 Launch into Roman Catapult Design
Year 4 pupils have begun an exciting Design and Technology project creating their own miniature Roman-style catapults.
As part of the project, pupils have been developing a range of practical skills, including accurate measuring, careful cutting, and safe use of tools and equipment. They have shown fantastic focus and perseverance while constructing their designs and learning how to use glue guns responsibly and effectively.
The project has provided a wonderful opportunity for pupils to combine creativity with problem-solving and precision, while linking their practical work to their learning about the Romans.
We look forward to seeing the finished catapults and putting them to the test!
