Year 6 Camp Out: Memories Made Where the Future Begins

After a busy day of activities, Year 6 enjoyed an unforgettable evening for their much-anticipated camping adventure in the beautiful Big King’s School Gardens.

The fun began with a lively party swim in our school pool, complete with inflatables and plenty of laughter. Refreshed and energised, the pupils moved on to the next challenge: setting up their tents. With impressive teamwork, each group worked together to pitch their tent, secure the pegs, and create their overnight base.

As the sun continued to shine, dinner was served, delicious pizza and refreshing ice lollies enjoyed picnic-style on the lawn, right in the shadow of Worcester Cathedral. It was a truly memorable setting and a special moment for all.

The evening continued with games, stories, and plenty of smiles as the children embraced the experience of sleeping under the stars. For many, it was their first night camping and the excitement was high. Even more special was the knowledge that this beautiful location will soon become part of their next chapter, as they prepare to take their next steps into senior school life.

A magical way to mark the end of a chapter and look ahead to the future, well done Year 6!
