Year 6 Girls Shine in Superball Netball Training Session

During Saturday’s highly anticipated Superball event, our Year 6 girls had an unforgettable opportunity to take part in a netball training session alongside pupils from King’s Hawford, RGS The Grange, and RGS Springfield. With the excitement building, the girls were thrilled to step onto the court and train under the guidance of expert coaches from NetFirst.

Split into groups, the players worked through three key training techniques designed to develop their agility, passing accuracy, and defensive skills. The session provided an excellent opportunity for them to refine their techniques, gain valuable coaching insights, and experience the energy of a high-profile sporting event.

One of the highlights of the day was the chance to train on the main court in a sold-out arena, soaking in the electrifying atmosphere of Superball. For many of the girls, this was an inspiring moment, sparking dreams of one day playing in a big match themselves. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and determination throughout the session.

We are incredibly proud of our Year 6 girls for their hard work and passion, who knows, we may just see some of them on the Superball court in the future!
