Year 6 Return with Enthusiasm
6P have settled back into school life wonderfully and have made a fantastic start to the new academic year. They have embraced their lessons, sporting activities and practical learning with enthusiasm, energy and a real willingness to challenge themselves and learn something new.
The class have particularly enjoyed getting stuck into their new reading book, ‘Wonder’. Through the story, they have been exploring important themes such as compassion, friendship and respect, and it has been lovely to see these values reflected in the way they treat one another. The children have shown themselves to be incredibly kind, helpful and considerate, creating a warm and supportive classroom environment.
They have also been enthusiastic about taking on different roles and responsibilities across the school. Whether helping to organise and tidy the playground equipment cupboard, signing up to become a librarian or offering after-school snacks to the wider school community, they have shown a wonderful sense of responsibility and a desire to make a positive contribution.
6P have also been exceptionally welcoming to our new members of staff, making sure that everyone feels part of the school community.
We are incredibly proud of the mature, caring and enthusiastic way in which they have approached the new school year.
