Supporting Malvern St James Families

We are sorry to hear the news regarding Malvern St James School and recognise how difficult and unsettling this will be for its community.

The King’s Worcester Foundation wishes to offer a supportive and practical conversation to MSJ families who may be considering their next steps for September. Where appropriate, we would be happy to discuss potential places across our schools and to answer any questions.

Contact us confidentially to arrange a conversation.

Nursery have had a ‘quacking’ good week

It has been a busy and exciting week for the children in Nursery, with so many fantastic things to do and learn.

The children have continued looking at the Eric Carle stories, focussing on ‘10 Little Rubber Ducks’ this week.  They listened to the story and then made their own pictures of the 10 little rubber ducks floating on the sea.  They had great fun searching for numbered ducks which, rather cheekily, were hiding in some blue rice!  The children thoroughly enjoyed going on a duck hunt around the garden and playing with the bubble mix. They made some delicious duck-shaped biscuits, complete with a red bill and blue eye, just like the story!   Just to round the theme off, there were then duck shaped sandwiches for afternoon snack.

In Forest School the children had a great time searching for natural objects and making clay faces in the garden.    Mrs Stenson came to teach the children some more French; this week the children practiced their colours and began to learn some numbers in French too.

We didn’t forget that it is a VERY important Sunday this weekend and so we made some special cards for our mummies and sent them a photo of us with some beautiful flowers, just to say how much we love them.
