Year 2’s Adventure To The Thinktank
On our trip to the Thinktank, we had an amazing day full of exciting activities and new things to learn.
First, we got on the coach and travelled to Birmingham. When we arrived, we went straight to the Science Garden, where we explored and tried out all kinds of fun science activities.
Next, we went to level 3 of the museum to see the animal displays, dinosaur skeletons, and exhibits about the human body. There were so many interesting things to look at! After that, we went into the science theatre to learn about electricity. We watched some experiments and learned how electricity works, which was very exciting.
Then it was time for lunch! We had sandwiches, crisps, fruit, and even a Kit-Kat to enjoy before our next adventure.
After lunch, we visited Mini Brum, a special area for role play. There was even a yellow tunnel slide that everyone loved! Later, we went into the Planetarium, where we learned about the stars, planets, the International Space Station, and Tim Peake, the astronaut. It felt like we were traveling through space!
At the end of the day, we had a quick stop at the toilets before heading back to the coach for our journey home to school. Everyone had a wonderful time and we learned so much at the Thinktank! It was a trip to remember.
