Celebrating Our Pupils’ Achievements
This week’s Celebration Assembly was a joyful and bumper gathering, shining a spotlight on individual excellence as well as the unwavering support and encouragement that embody our school spirit.
Reception:
- Malik – Incredible focus and enthusiasm in phonics lessons.
- Ahmad – Complete engagement and enthusiasm in our topic.
- A huge congratulations to the entire Reception class for their fantastic speaking during their very first assembly. Mr. Hawker was incredibly proud of each and every one of you.
Year 1:
- Alice – Always listening carefully and working with super focus on tasks.
- Izzy – Working with great focus and determination when practising addition and subtraction.
- Adel – Working with excellent focus and determination in addition and subtraction practice.
Year 2:
- Alice – Great focus and perseverance in all lessons.
- Ivan, Xander, Lakshmi, Mikaeel – A super effort writing Roly-Poly bird rhymes (based on The Twits by Roald Dahl), warning garden birds to stay away from The Twits’ tree. Their creative rhymes captured both imagination and storytelling flair!

Commendation Awards
U11/10 Football Team at Winterfold Tournament
Team Members: Harry D, Thea H, Max G, Ben D, Ben J, Charles N, Arlo F, Archie B, and Henry S.
The team delivered some brilliant performances against tough opposition, showing great determination and school spirit. Although we narrowly missed out in the Plate semifinal against Beaudesert Park School, they should be proud of their efforts. A standout moment was Max G’s crucial goal against Moor Park, which secured our place in the knockout stages.
Lower Prep Highlights:
Year 3:
- Archie M, Archie H., Milan, Olivia – Excellent participation in Spanish lessons, super memory for words, and dedication to reading and writing activities. Perfecto!
- Hugo – For a wonderful log pyramid and detailed pyramid drawing.
- Olivia – For creating three impressive pyramids out of Lego, bark, and construction toys.
- Magson – Built excellent pyramids for his homework, even making one large enough to fit inside!
- Tiegan – Created four unique pyramids for her homework, showcasing amazing imagination and creativity.
- Luna – Recognised for her improved approach to story writing and growing enthusiasm.
Year 4
- Bertie – Acknowledged for his dedication and effort during a handwriting lesson.
Upper Prep
Year 5:
- Pip, Joshua – Super French writing, excellent text message dialogues, and top marks in vocab tests. Bravo!
- Millie – Created an informative and creative poster about rainforests.
- Cerys – Painted a stunning toucan as part of her rainforest project.
Year 6:
- Ivy – Excellent French writing, with accurate and first-class creative opinions about school.
- Georgia – Outstanding French text message writing!
- Henry – Commended for his excellent enthusiasm and effort in both maths and spelling.
- Jackson – Produced a highly informative booklet on WW1.
- George & Emily – Achieved full marks in all spelling tests this term.
- Ben F – Consistently reliable in taking the diplomatic bag to the senior school every day.
