A Wonderful Kenyan Adventure in Year 2 Assembly
On Tuesday, Year 2 delivered a fantastic assembly all about Kenya to a packed Pre-Prep hall, confidently sharing everything they have been learning throughout their topic.
Pupils impressed the audience with interesting facts about Kenya’s physical landmarks and the Maasai tribe, bringing their learning to life with enthusiasm and confidence. A particular highlight was the boys’ energetic Maasai warrior dance, which was enjoyed by everyone watching!
The class also beautifully retold the story of Lila and the Rain, combining expressive acting, musical instruments, and wonderful storytelling skills to create a truly engaging performance. Every pupil learnt their lines brilliantly and spoke clearly and confidently in front of the audience. Following the assembly, parents were invited to enjoy coffee while pupils proudly shared their topic books and showcased all of their hard work from the term.
Well done Year 2, you are all superstars!
