KSA Gets Ready to Make a Splash for Children in Need
We are excited to announce that King’s St Alban’s will be taking on a fantastic whole-school challenge for BBC Children in Need with a 12-hour Swimathon on Friday 13 November!
Inspired by this year’s Challenge Yourself for 2026 theme, we’re getting ready to dive in and make a real splash! Our aim is to keep the pool in action from 6am to 6pm, bringing together our entire school community for a day of swimming, teamwork and fundraising.
From our youngest children in Nursery through to Year 6, alongside our dedicated staff, everyone will play their part, with all pupils taking on a minimum of two swimming sessions throughout the day. Whether they are building their confidence in the water, challenging themselves to swim further or cheering on their friends, every contribution will help keep our Swimathon going!
This is a wonderful opportunity to bring our school community together, encouraging our pupils to challenge themselves, support one another and think about children and young people who need our help. We hope the day will be filled with determination, laughter and plenty of splashing as we work together for such an important cause.
And, of course, Pudsey is already getting into the spirit of things, keeping a watchful eye on our pool as our very special lifeguard!
We can’t wait to see our whole KSA community come together to make this challenge a success. To make a donation to Children in Need, please use this link
