Alanna Shines in Dance Competitions and Earns Top Awards

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our Year 4 pupil, Alanna, whose dedication and talent in dance have seen her shine on both the exam and competition stages.

Towards the end of last term, Alanna successfully completed both her Grade 2 Ballet and Grade 2 Modern Theatre exams, receiving distinction marks and certificates for both. Her hard work and commitment to her craft were further recognised when she was awarded the Acro Cup by the Academy of Theatre Arts, Worcester, for being the best all-round Acro dancer of the year – a recognition that came as a wonderful surprise to Alanna.

Looking to the future, Alanna has an exciting journey ahead. Over the next two years, she will be training with an Acro solo and a Modern Theatre solo, alongside participating in junior groups, with the goal of competing in the regional finals held during every school holidays. Her ultimate aim is to qualify for the prestigious All England Finals, where she will go up against some of the best dancers in the country.

Alanna’s accomplishments this year have already been outstanding. She and her group reached the semi-finals of the All England Dance competition, achieving an impressive 4th place.  Alanna’s performance in her first-ever national competition was a tremendous achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder of her success.

Alanna’s passion and determination for dance are truly inspiring, and we look forward to following her journey over the coming years. Well done, Alanna!
