Hawford Children Look Ahead on Move Up Day

Last Friday saw the annual, highly anticipated Move Up Day at King’s Hawford.

Our current pupils were joined by a new group of children from Kindergarten or from other schools. It is an exciting day that helps children get to know their new teacher, new classmates and new classroom for the next academic year.

There was an air of excitement in The Barn as Celebration Assembly drew to a close and next years classes were revealed. All the children were introduced to their new teachers and whisked away to their classrooms for next year, where exciting activities awaited.

Move Up Day was filled with games and opportunities to get to know one another, with teachers making sure every child felt comfortable in their new surroundings. It was lovely to see new friendships beginning and existing ones growing stronger.

With the end of term now in sight, pupils can look forward to all the exciting opportunities awaiting them in September.
