Assembly showcases the breadth of pupil’s achievements
Our weekly Celebration Assemblies showcase the breadth of pupils’ achievements inside and outside of school. This week we have given out academic awards, effort prizes, music certificates, horse riding trophies, karate belts and cross-country medals!
We started assembly with James, who entertained the audience with his excellent trombone playing. James played Somewhere in My Memory from Home Alone.
Mr Stigant then presented Olive with her yellow stripe karate belt, which she has achieved in lessons outside of school. Rosie told Mr Stigant about her trophy, which was awarded for her performance in the mounted games at her Pony Club.
Following on from last week’s House Cross-Country, Mr Hodgkins was delighted to award the winners from each year group with their medals. You can read more about last week’s event along with a breakdown of the winners in our House Cross-Country report.
Thomas C has recently earned his Grade 1 in classical guitar, which is an excellent achievement.
