Celebration Assemblies and Achievements at King’s Hawford

This week began on a high note as we held our celebration assembly on Monday, 9th December, instead of the usual Friday, due to the House Quizzes. The assembly started with fantastic solo performances from Finn M-P, setting an uplifting tone for the week. It was a wonderful way to reflect on another successful term and celebrate our pupils’ achievements.

End-of-Term Celebration Assembly – Friday 13th December

Mr. Butt opened the final assembly of the term, reflecting on an incredible few months. Before the festive season officially began, the school came together to recognize achievements in the last celebration assembly of the year.

Our celebration assembly began with musical performances:

• Olivia G followed with a solo violin performance, showcasing her incredible talent

Sports Awards 

The Sports Awards was presented by Mr. Hodgkins and Mrs. Butt. They were joined by Will M. and Sam E., both Old Hawfordians, who participated in the Modus Cup last weekend. These former pupils, now in Upper Sixth, returned to speak to the children during assembly about their rugby experiences. Will is currently the captain of the 1st XV.
