Celebrating Success Spring Term Week 10
The final week of the Spring Term has come to an end and what a week it has been! Our Prep pupils have triumphed with a splendid Creative ConneXions performance and, in addition to all the hard work that has gone into the shows, pupils have still managed to achieve success in a multitude of other areas.
Pre-Prep Awards
Well done to Arla R, who was Reception’s Superstar of the Week. In Year One, Laksmi S has impressed with his superb independence and focus on all tasks, and Rory S has been an absolute delight in class all week. Our Year Two pupils have ended the term on a high: Luna H was rewarded for consistently making a huge effort with the presentation of her work and Olivia E is always ready to learn at the start of every lesson.
Commendation Awards
All of Year One were commended for their lovely class assembly; Mrs Chatterton was very proud of how confidently the children spoke, how well they sang, and how they performed, with lots of smiley enthusiasm.
Year Six pupils Jonas H and Aelwen have both completed some excellent writing, explaining why Blitzkrieg was so successful.
Matthew B in Year Three and the following pupils in Year Five were all commended for their excellent GYM homework: Emily F, Rosie W and Uriah G.
A number of 6P pupils were commended for writing superb newspaper reports: well done to Isaac L, Sebastian S, Sophia M, Lily E, and Humphrey D.
Headmaster’s Awards (HMAs)
Eliza W in Year Six received a Headmaster’s Award for her excellent writing about the success of Blitzkrieg. The work was even more impressive given that Eliza has only been at King’s St Alban’s for a week.
Jeremiah visited Mr Hawker to show him the newspaper report he had completed on Martin Luther King. Mr Hawker was suitably impressed and was delighted to award Jeremiah with a Headmaster’s Award. Susie H earnt her HMA by impressing staff with her exceptional dedication to her duties as a Performing Arts Prefect.
