The King's Warmth

We are small enough to care for each and every child; our staff know children and their families well and we are very proud of our reputation for excellent pastoral care. Continuity of care is extremely important to us at King's St Alban's. Our fee-inclusive wrap-around care and our Holiday Clubs are run entirely by our staff to ensure children are cared for in a warm, safe and familiar setting.

Academic Excellence

Our pupils regularly achieve awards in the form of academic, music or all-rounder scholarships to the Senior School. As a school, we place a strong emphasis on the core subjects of maths and English whilst delivering a wide and varied curriculum.

Word of Opportunity

Children can discover more, learn more and experience more. Our extensive co-curricular programme allows children to find out what makes them tick, learn new skills and provides joy beyond the classroom. With a teacher-led nursery from 2 years old, an activity programme including everything from philosophy to swim club, as well as our Forest School, our pupils can truly discover their passions.

First Class Facilities

We benefit from excellent on-site facilities, including a 25-metre swimming pool, sports hall, Forest School, two libraries and specialist classrooms for art, music and science. Our close proximity to the Senior School also means our pupils have access to a range of state-of-the-art facilities, including dance and drama studios, a 300-seat theatre, an award-winning boathouse , a modern sports hall and 46 acres of scenic playing fields overlooked by the Cathedral.

Seamless Transition to the Senior School

By the time our pupils move on to the Senior School they are already part of the King's community. During their time with us they enjoy numerous opportunities to become familiar with the Senior School facilities and this, coupled with the way they are taught at King's St Alban's, means that they are familiar with the culture and ethos of King's Senior by the time they move there.
