Festive Creativity Pre-Prep’s Christmas Pottery Workshop

Christmas festivities kicked off today in Pre-Prep! This afternoon, the Pre-Prep and Nursery children enjoyed a delightful pottery workshop led by Emma, our senior school nurse.

After listening carefully to her guidance, each child selected a special Christmas-themed item to paint. Armed with paintbrushes and a vibrant palette, the children thoughtfully chose their colours, carefully considering their designs as they worked. Some selected traditional Christmas colours, while others explored a more unique and creative approach, adding their own personality to each piece.

The concentration on each child’s face was a joy to see, with careful strokes they brought their designs to life. Once finished, each item will be fired in the kiln and expertly glazed to create a lasting keepsake, ready just in time for Christmas.

We are eager to see the final results when the pieces are returned to Pre-Prep. This workshop was a beautiful start to our Christmas celebrations!
