Hawford Singers Open Victorian Fayre

Four King’s Hawford pupils who sing in the Cathedral Voluntary Choir performed in a special service to open the Worcester Victorian Fayre on Thursday evening.

The cathedral was full and was attended by lots of local dignitaries including the Mayor. The children did very well to sing in front of such a big congregation, and they then walked through the High Street full of Christmas stalls, before performing again to crowds in the Cornmarket.

Finally, the Vollers were treated to the first carousel ride, in their chorister robes! Congratulations to Maddie P, Nina H, Isla H and Rosie L-C on such a wonderful and an exciting evening of singing!

Any children interested in joining the Voluntary Choir should contact Mrs Hughes (shughes@ksw.org.uk) or Nicholas Freestone (nicholasfreestone@worcestercathedral.org.uk) for further information.
