King’s Hawford House Captains and Vice Captains Elected
This week saw the election of our new House Captains for the academic year at King’s Hawford, with pupils excitedly taking part in their first House meetings of the term this morning.
The House system, a vital part of school life, promotes a strong sense of community, belonging, and pride among the children. These meetings were especially significant for two reasons: it was the first time all pupils came together in their house groups this year, and it featured the eagerly awaited speeches for the roles of House Captain and Vice Captain.
Year 6 pupils took to the stage to present their cases for leadership, speaking with confidence and clarity. After the speeches, each house voted to elect two Captains and two Vice Captains. Congratulations to our new House Captains and Vice House Captains who, following their fantastic presentations on Friday afternoon, were elected to lead their houses this year.
Kinver House Captains: Charles C and Pippa K
Kinver Vice House Captains: Lyra and Thea
Clent House Captains: Jess and Jude
Clent Vice House Captains: Arthur A and Millie
Malvern House Captains: Henry and Pippa P
Malvern Vice House Captains: Marnie and Thomas
Bredon House Captains: Mary and Arthur O
Bredon Vice House Captains: Oliver and Olivia G
Not to be outdone, our Pre-Prep pupils also held their own House Captain votes today. Each House elected a Captain and a Vice Captain for the year. As with the Prep School House Captain vote, the children spoke with confidence and purpose and impressed their teachers highly. Well done to the following for being chosen by their peers as House Captains:
