Pre Prep’s Wonderful Forest School Adventure with King’s Hawford

On Thursday, our Pre-Prep pupils travelled to King’s Hawford for a fantastic Forest School day with their friends from across the Foundation. There was great excitement as the children arrived, eager to make new friends and catch up with familiar ones.

Throughout the day, pupils enjoyed a wide range of outdoor activities and explored the woodland environment with curiosity and enthusiasm. Activities included working with clay, making decorations, climbing, digging, and, of course, the highlight of the day— toasting marshmallows to make delicious smores around the firepit!

The children also loved listening to stories around the campfire, creating a calm and cosy end to a fun-filled day outdoors. It was a wonderful opportunity for the Foundation Pre-Prep departments to come together and enjoy shared experiences and friendships.

We are already looking forward to returning the favour when King’s Hawford visit us at Slingpool in June for a Pre-Prep sports extravaganza!
