Young Harpists Delight Kindergarten Children

Last week, two of our youngest harpists, James F and Myla-Mae H-H in Year 1 treated Kindergarten to a delightful performance on their harps.

Myla-Mae began with two incredible short pieces on her 16-string pink lap harp which she received for Christmas, demonstrating how accessible the lap harps are for young performers.

James then impressed with two wonderful pieces on his 34 -string lever harp, which he is learning for his ABRSM Prep Test exam next week. The children in kindergarten KG2 were completely entranced, listening beautifully and enchanted by the beautiful sound of the harps before they each had a go on the large harp under the guidance of our Harp teacher Erica Sinclair-Wilding.
