King’s Hawford Prefects and Heads of School Announced

Headmaster, Mr Butt, has appointed the first set of prefects and Heads of School for the Autumn Term.

Each prefect has been chosen for the outstanding attitude and commitment, and will represent a specific role that embodies the core principles at Hawford.

Heads of School: Harry J & Daisy E

Leadership Prefects: Arthur G & Rosie H

Art, Music & Performance: Prefects Ariana P & Jasper P

Wellbeing Prefects: Valerie M & Henry D

Environmental Prefect: Robyn C

Academic Prefect: Austin R

Sports & Playtime Prefects: Jack J & Jasmine O

Nurture & Guidance Prefect: Zara O

Animal Welfare Prefect: Maysie L

Mr Butt said: “Year on year, the letters of application I have received from the Year Six children have just got better and better. I spent a great deal of time re-reading each of them before making the final decisions, which were my hardest yet due to the outstanding quality of the correspondence. They are an exceptional year group, and I cannot wait to see how each of them grows into the roles they will fulfil throughout this year.”

Daisy E and Harry J were appointed as Heads of School. They began their leadership journey with their first duty at the Foundation Cathedral Service, where they addressed over 1100 people from across the whole King’s Foundation with great confidence.
