Lion King Jnr

This week has seen our Year 3 and 4 children perform a brilliant rendition of the Lion King Jnr play. They have been rehearsing for the past term and really embracing the "wild" side of the performance. To help them get into character, they came to a film night showing of Disney's "The Lion King". Since then, the children have been practicing hard and making sure they know their lines perfectly.

All parents and staff were amazed by the complexity of the roles and songs the children had learned. The face paints, costumes, and hair all made the show look highly professional. I know the children enjoyed themselves and the opportunity to act out such a well-known show is something that will be a highlight of their time at Hawford.
