Pupils success knows no bounds

There were a number of bleary eyes on display this morning, as pupils stepped over the confetti remnants of last night’s Charity Gala on their way to assembly. Mr Butt kicked off assembly by congratulating all those who took part in the Gala. Pupils and a number of staff members performed back to back concerts in a packed Barn to rapturous applause. Mr Butt and all of the teachers are incredibly proud of all the Prep pupils who took part.

Alex V continues to take part in Junior Parkrun at the Wyre Forest and has celebrated completing his 50th endeavour. In terms of total distance, Alex has now run the equivalent of an ultramarathon. He is the first child to complete this feat at the Wyre Forest Junior Parkrun.

Headmaster Awards:

Mrs Hyde has been extremely impressed with her Year Five German classes. They were set an independent writing challenge, and a few pupils surprised Mrs Hyde with their excellent vocabulary and use of grammar. Well done to Thomas C, George C, Jude R, Sophie W and Amelia B. Pippa was praised for her descriptive writing in her English classes.

Two Year Two pupils have visited Mr Butt this week. Bonnie W stood out on the Year Two Thinktank Trip for her wonderful manners. Her teachers remarked that Bonnie was an outstanding ambassador for the School. Chester L took it upon himself to raise funds independently. Passionate about his chickens, Chester has been collecting their eggs and selling them at school and all profits have been donated to the school’s charities.

Sylvie P and Ellie H have both been recognised for producing some beautiful paintings: Sylvie’s painting of a Russian Doll and Ellie’s painting of a kitten both demonstrated a beautiful use of colour.
