World book week

World Book Day

On Thursday 7th March, Hawford had a fabulous day celebrating World Book Day. The children and staff all dressed up and had an excellent day playing out their literature inspired character. As part of a week of encouraging children to enjoy books, literature and creative writing, in all its many guises, we also ran a story competition to be themed around our Hawford double-decker bus. The winners were announced yesterday:

Year 6 – Anna Wales, Caitlin Rutter

Year 3 – Bertie Davis, Harvey Reeds
