King's St Alban's

46 acres of playing fields

King’s St Alban’s pupils are fortunate to have access to some of the most beautiful playing fields in the country. Our extensive playing fields, located across the river from the main school site, follow the River Severn southwards from the edge of Worcestershire County Cricket Club towards the Diglis weir. Home to rugby, cricket, football, rounders and track sports, as well as Sports Days, the fields lie in the shadow of Worcester Cathedral.

All children at King’s St Alban’s are given the opportunity to take part in inter-school fixtures from Year 3 on wards. Our outstanding sports fields give our pupils the opportunity to play sports outdoors all year round. Netballers play in the Sports Hall or on the playground and our hockey players benefit from our off-site all-weather AstroTurf pitch.
