Parents’ Social Group Spread Christmas Magic

The children in Pre-Prep and Nursery were incredibly excited on Monday, as the King’s St Alban’s Parents’ Social Group arrived to host a wonderfully creative afternoon of Christmas crafts and activities.

The children, dressed in their fantastically festive party outfits, had lots of fun, creating a beautiful decoration to hang on their Christmas Tree at home, as well as making brilliant reindeer hats to wear, complete with Rudolph’s red nose. The children also decorated a party bag to keep all of their Christmas creations safe.  There were plenty of sparkly pipe-cleaners, glittery stars and shining bauble stickers to go around and keep everyone busy!

A highlight of the afternoon was a visit from Father Christmas! The children took turns visiting him, where they all told him that they had been very good this year and shared their wishes from their Christmas lists. Father Christmas listened very carefully to their requests and explained that the children all had to be tucked up in bed nice and early on Christmas Eve and for them to leave him a special snack and drink as he gets very hungry and thirsty delivering all the presents. The children were then all delighted to receive a gift from Father Christmas.

After all the fun and excitement, the children enjoyed eating delicious Christmas Tree Biscuits for their snack.

The children had a super afternoon and the hall was full of joyful, Christmassy chatter and smiling children, singing along with their favourite, festive tunes. The countdown to Christmas really has begun!

A huge thank you goes to the King’s St Alban’s Parents’ Social Group for making it such a special afternoon.
