Football Star Fabian Plays in Tournament of Nations

Lower Remove pupil, Fabian W, has continued his incredible football journey by recently representing the Wales Men’s U15 national football team in the 21st Edition of The Tournament of Nations.

The tournament, held in Italy, Slovenia and Austria at the end of April, comprised of the national teams from Italy, UAE, Slovenia, S. Korea, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Montenegro, Austria, Ireland and Czech Republic.

The Wales team camp was based in Grado, Italy and Fabian acquitted himself well at Right Centre Back and Right Back in wins against UAE and Montenegro, losing out marginally to Italy, who were the eventual tournament winners.

Fabian, who plays for Aston Villa Academy, started his King’s journey at King’s Hawford. Throughout his time at the school, he has excelled across many sports including football. We are incredibly proud of all is he achieving with Aston Villa and Wales.
