King’s Worcester uses the SOCS platform to manage its school sports schedule in the UK, giving families a central hub for all fixtures and results.
Through SOCS, users can:
- View sport-specific calendars and fixtures
- Access team selections in advance
- Check match details, including venues and maps
- Follow individual team schedules
Parents and pupils can also synchronise the King’s Worcester sports calendar with their personal devices using calendar feeds (e.g. iCal, Outlook), making it easy to stay updated.
SOCS is a family-run business that has been working with schools for the last two decades. It started life as a school’s rugby website, a hub for rugby fixtures and results. From this the SOCS platform was born, becoming an essential tool for staff to manage and communicate their calendar, co-curricular, music and sport events.
SOCS provides the sports department with a more efficient tool to create fixtures and team sheets: it gives King’s the single data entry point that they require, making it easy and accessible to all.
Staff, pupils and parents can also synchronise their desktop and mobile calendars with their favourite team’s fixture list using ICS calendar feeds for iCAL, Outlook and other 3rd party calendars.
