At King’s, we are passionate about sport and physical activity and strive to develop the potential within each pupil. Our sports provision embraces ‘Excellence’ and ‘Sport for All’ and we encourage all of our students to engage with the many and varied opportunities that are offered.
This is why at King’s Worcester we use SOCS to optimise the provision of our sports program, enabling improved communication between staff and their teams, and allowing parents and pupils to access all the information they require in one location.
SOCS is a family run business that has been working with schools for the last two decades. It started life as a school’s rugby website, a hub for rugby fixtures and results. From this the SOCS platform was born becoming an essential tool for staff to manage and communicate their calendar, co-curricular, music and sport events.
Today SOCS works with over 900 schools across the world, including many of the world’s leading schools, academies and trusts.
SOCS provides the sports department with a more efficient tool to create fixtures and team sheets: it gives King’s the single data entry point that they require, making it easy and accessible to all.
Staff, pupils and parents can also synchronise their desktop and mobile calendars with their favourite team’s fixture list using ICS calendar feeds for iCAL, Outlook and other 3rd party calendars.
