Once you have visited King’s Worcester, either on an Open Morning or a normal working day, and you have decided that you would like your son or daughter to be considered for a place, the first step is to complete a registration form via our online application portal.
All children are required to sit age-appropriate entrance assessments/test to secure places within the school for entry at 11+/12+/13+ and 14+. Registrations remain valid for entry into any of the schools within the King’s Foundation at any age.
Next steps
11+/12+/13+ and 14+
Following registration, we will keep you informed throughout the application process. At the end of the autumn term preceding the year of entry, we will ask you to confirm that your child will be attending the Entrance Test and if you are interested in our scholarships and bursaries. When you have indicated your preferences, we will then send you further details, which will include what to expect on the Testing Day and a selection of specimen papers.
Sixth Form
No entrance test is required for those wishing to join the school in Sixth Form. However, all offers will be made conditional to minimum GCSE grades being achieved.
Each Sixth Form candidate will be required to complete a personal statement, and references will be taken up from their current school. Please see the Scholarships and Bursaries section for information on assessment for Academic Scholarship at this level.
If you have any questions, please contact our Registrar Mrs Vickie Peckston on 01905 721742.
