Once you have visited King’s Worcester, either on an Open Morning or a normal working day, and you have decided that you would like your son or daughter to be considered for a place, the first step is to complete a registration form.

You have the option of downloading and returning our registration form or completing and returning the paper copy enclosed within your prospectus pack. You also need to pay a registration fee of £40.

Please note that the submission of this form does not guarantee a place for your child at any of the King’s Foundation schools, as it is dependent upon their performance in our entrance tests. Registrations remain valid for entry into any of the schools within the King’s Foundation at any age.

Next steps

Following registration, we will keep you informed throughout the application process. At the end of the autumn term preceding the year of entry, we will ask you to confirm that your child will be attending the Entrance Test and if you are interested in our scholarships and bursaries. When you have indicated your preferences, we will then send you further details, which will include what to expect on the Testing Day and a selection of specimen papers.

A similar pack will be sent to all those who have registered for Sixth Form entry and will include a sample of the specially-designed cognitive ability tests, which contain elements of English, Mathematics, and spatial relationships. Each Sixth Form candidate will be required to complete an application form, including a personal statement, and return this by the deadline date shown on the form.

If you have any questions, please contact our Registrar Mrs Vickie Peckston on 01905 721 742.
