King’s Skiers Enjoy a Week on the Slopes in Austria
In the first week of the Christmas break, 37 Upper Sixth students and 5 members of staff set off for Saalbach Hinterglemm, Austria for the Senior Ski Trip.
An old favourite of King’s, the resort has extensive skiing for all abilities, and the group enjoyed super snow conditions throughout the week. Austrian Ski School instruction was first class, and each group covered many kilometres of piste by the end of Day Six.
The group had a busy schedule, with five hours of instruction each day and lots of fun-filled activities in the evenings. Some of the highlights included bowling, skating, a pizza night and a local Austrian burger night. The trip was a great success.
Head of DT, Mr Wilson, who organised and led the trip said, “It’s always reinvigorating being back in the mountains, but it was a real pleasure spending time with such a fun-loving group of students”.
