King’s Worcester Swimmers to Represent Worcester County at National Championships

Four outstanding swimmers from King’s Worcester have been selected to represent Worcester County at the prestigious Swim England National County Team Championships in Sheffield next weekend.

This is a significant achievement for the young athletes, as the National County Team Championships are considered one of the most exciting and competitive events in the swimming calendar.

Held at Sheffield’s renowned Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, the event will see more than 900 swimmers from counties across England, as well as regions from Scotland and Wales, competing in two 25m pools simultaneously. The fast-paced competition will unfold in front of a packed and energetic crowd, making it a highly anticipated event.

Adding to the excitement for Worcester County swimmers is the opportunity for an overnight stay, giving them the chance to form even stronger bonds and friendships with their fellow competitors from across the region. Although rivals in the pool, these swimmers share camaraderie and a love for the sport that makes this competition even more special.

We are incredibly proud of Harry C, Grace E, Ben G, and Dylan L for their exceptional efforts and for earning the honour of representing Worcester County. Their hard work, dedication, and fierce competitive spirit have paid off, and they will now showcase their talents on the national stage.

Best of luck to Harry, Grace, Ben, and Dylan as they prepare to compete in what promises to be an unforgettable weekend of top-class swimming
