KSW Swimming Academy Makes a Splash with Successful Launch
The highly anticipated KSW Swimming Academy had its first session early on Monday morning (23rd), marking an exciting new opportunity for pupils at King’s Worcester.
Despite a slightly delayed start, the inaugural session took place in the school’s newly refurbished swimming pool, offering students a chance to enhance their swimming skills through expert coaching from the King’s Worcester Swimming Academy team.
The academy has been designed for pupils who already swim competitively or those with a keen interest in developing their skills. With state-of-the-art facilities, including brand new anti-wave lane ropes, track start blocks, and an advanced filtration system, students will not only improve their stamina and technique but will also focus on race starts, turns, dives, and relay changeovers—preparing them for school galas and aquatic events.
Additional sessions are held on Friday mornings, before school, as well as on Monday and Friday afternoons, attracting significant interest from pupils and parents alike. Currently, all sessions are fully booked due to overwhelming demand and pool capacity limitations. However, the academy’s coaching team plans to review and expand the program throughout the year to accommodate more pupils and provide them with the opportunity to improve their swimming abilities.
Keep an eye out for further updates on the KSW Swimming Academy, as it continues to inspire and develop the school’s next generation of swimmers!
