Outstanding Week for U16 Hockey Team
It has been an exceptional week for our U16 hockey team, who demonstrated superb skill, teamwork, and determination across two competitions.
Midland Zonals
On Monday, the U16s competed in the Midland Zonals round of the Indoor Hockey competition. Playing four intense matches, the girls produced outstanding performances throughout, winning every game to secure their place in the Midlands Finals next week as the top seed.
- Game 1: King’s 3 – 2 Bromsgrove School
- Game 2: King’s 5 – 0 RGS
- Game 3: King’s 3 – 0 King’s High Warwick
- Game 4: King’s 5 – 1 Malvern College

England Hockey Nationals
Just two days later, the team travelled to Exeter School for the third round of the England Hockey National competition.
The girls showed great focus and composure, playing a superb passing game that saw them dominate from start to finish. Their skill on the ball was rewarded with a commanding 5–0 victory.
This win sees the team progress to the quarter-finals, where they will face Bradfield College later this term.
