Upper Fourth raise money for Cancer Research

Over the Christmas period, pupils from Upper Fourth D (Year 8) organised and took part in a sponsored digital detox, during which they were sponsored for each hour they went without using things such as The Internet, Smart Phones, Tablets, and Computers. There are 19 pupils in the Form and, on their own, they have raised over £1000 for Cancer Research! 

A representative from Cancer Research came into school today and collected the money they raised (£1030) during the Fourth Form (years 7 and 8) assembly. He thanked the pupils for all their hard work and advised that their donation would go to local research Universities such as Birmingham and Leicester.
