CCF Celebrates Annual Mess Dinner at West Midlands Safari Park

The Combined Cadet Force (CCF) held its much-anticipated annual Mess Dinner at the West Midlands Safari Park this year, marking a celebratory conclusion to the activities completed this year.

This prestigious event provided an opportunity for the unit to celebrate its achievements over the past year, bid farewell to the Upper Sixth Form leavers, and extend heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff who support the CCF’s endeavours.

A particularly heart-warming aspect of the evening was the presence of several Old Vigornians, who returned to join in the celebrations and reconnect with the CCF, eager to learn about its recent activities and milestones since their own time at the School.

A standout moment of the night was the recognition given to Cadet Sergeant Ellie C, who was lauded for her exceptional efforts in planning and organizing the entire event. Her meticulous attention to detail and dedication ensured that the evening was a resounding success.

The evening also saw the presentation of several prestigious awards, celebrating the outstanding contributions and achievements of the cadets. The accolades included:

The annual Mess Dinner not only honoured individual and collective accomplishments but also reinforced the values of leadership, resilience, and teamwork that are central to the CCF’s mission.
