The King’s Worcester Foundation wishes to offer a supportive and practical conversation to MSJ families who may be considering their next steps for September. Where appropriate, we would be happy to discuss potential places across our schools and to answer any questions.

Netball Teams Compete in National and Sister in Sport Cups

It has been a busy week of competition for our school teams, with pupils from across age groups representing the school in both the School Sport Magazine National Cup and the Sister in Sport Cup.

The U12 girls played a thrilling first-round match against Northampton School in the National Cup, showing remarkable determination and teamwork. The match was tightly contested, but our girls maintained a strong lead throughout all four quarters. With a final score of 11-7, the U12s secured their well-deserved victory and now progress to the next round, with their upcoming opposition and date yet to be confirmed.

In the Sister in Sport Cup, our U18A team faced Rugby School in a tense and hard-fought encounter. The girls displayed significant improvement from their previous friendly match, showing well-developed playing structures and impressive teamwork. Despite their valiant efforts, the match ended with a narrow 20-22 loss. The team remains optimistic, aiming to refine their performance for future games as they continue to develop their strategies.

Meanwhile, the U14A team played against King Edward VI School for Girls in the Sister in Sport Cup. Although the girls fought hard, the opposition proved strong, resulting in a 24-45 loss. The team will use this experience to learn and grow as they move forward in the competition.

Both teams are determined to continue improving and competing at a high level. We are immensely proud of all our pupils for their resilience, hard work, and sportsmanship on the court. We look forward to seeing their progress in the upcoming rounds and future matches.
