Eamon T Crowned as Chess Tournament Winner

Congratulations to Eamon T, (LR), winner of the Monday Chess Club tournament.

Eamon’s performance was exceptional, winning every game he played and finishing first in tournament, despite missing two sessions to focus on his schoolwork.

Jack displayed great skill and resilience, securing second place with several impressive victories. Alex also showed notable improvement, losing only to Eamon.

Tymur V (FF), though only able to attend a few sessions due to his GCSE commitments, would likely have been in the running for a top spot had he been able to participate more regularly.

The standard of play at the club has been very impressive, with the level of competition steadily increasing. It is clear that each member has dedicated time and effort to improving their skills, which has been evident throughout the tournament.
