Supporting Malvern St James Families

We are sorry to hear the news regarding Malvern St James School and recognise how difficult and unsettling this will be for its community.

The King’s Worcester Foundation wishes to offer a supportive and practical conversation to MSJ families who may be considering their next steps for September. Where appropriate, we would be happy to discuss potential places across our schools and to answer any questions.

Contact us confidentially to arrange a conversation.

Cross Country Athletes Qualify for National Finals

King’s is delighted to announce that the Junior Boys Cross Country team has qualified for the National Finals of the ESSA Cross Country Cup, for only the second time in the school’s history.

This incredible achievement is a result of their outstanding performances at the regional round which took place yesterday.

The Junior Boys ran extremely well treacherous conditions as they were the last race of what had been an incredibly wet and windy day.

This year, King’s saw five of their six teams qualify for the Regional Finals, with all athletes running very well in wet and windy conditions which made the course highly challenging.

Two King’s athletes finished in the top 10; Ben B in the Junior Boys and Sophie P in Senior Girls, following excellent performances against some very strong schools.

Congratulations to all our talented runners on their perseverance and determination.

We now look ahead to the finals with great excitement, which take place December 6th at Princethorpe College, and wish the boys the very best of luck.
