Lower Four Rise to the Challenge at Blackwell

To help Lower Four pupils make a confident start to life in the Senior School, pupils headed to Blackwell Adventure Centre for an action-packed day of team-building activities.

The day offered plenty of opportunities to try something new, build confidence and get to know one another. High above the ground, the climbing wall and zip wire challenged pupils to step beyond their comfort zones, with encouragement from friends helping many to take the leap. Teambuilding challenges, including building a tall tower from crates, helped build friendships that have developed since the start of term.

By the end of the day, pupils had shared memorable experiences, strengthened new friendships and discovered what they could achieve by working together. The visit provided an exciting and purposeful start to the year, reinforcing the teamwork, courage and camaraderie that will support them throughout their time at King’s.
